Spotify's figure is more impressive - the total number of users has reached 170 million, of which less than half are subscribers of the paid version.
But with such a gain in a month, as now Apple, catching up with a competitor will become a very real task. Noting the general course of the company to expand the audience of users of services, as well as space investments in this sphere, it is not difficult to believe in the success of a large-scale campaign of popularization.
In addition to music, the company decided to start creating television shows and serials. According to insiders, the enterprise will invest more than a billion dollars in this business. According to the same rumors, Apple is working on twelve entertaining video projects, for nine of them, the series is ordered for the whole season. Development for more than a year, information about working on them came into the media in October 2017. Incidentally, it is Apple that can take up the continuation of the series from Steven Spielberg's "Amazing Stories."
